Closing out the first ever Battersea Jazz Festival at the @magic_pub, with two sets of lively, swinging jazz, will be Fraser & the Alibis!

The English Dexter Gordon himself, @fras_sax, will be joined by @liamdunachie on organ, @harrydiplockguitarist on guitar, and @lloydhaines on drums. Head down to the Magic Garden on Battersea Park Road from 15:00-17:00 for an unmissable afternoon.

London-based four piece Fraser & the Alibis play the hippest in Bop, Blues and Boogaloo.

Inspired by the big tenor sax sounds of Dexter Gordon and the screaming Hammond Organ of Jimmy Smith, the band play original tunes, deeply entrenched in the roots of the music. With a nod to 'Sam Butera and the Witnesses', Fraser & the Alibis channel the intensity and feel good effect of the swing and jive music of the dance hall era, combined with the intricacies and virtuosities of later jazz movements.
