Robbie will be joined by @adambishopwoodwind on alto sax, @fras_sax on tenor, @tomsmithsax on bass clarinet, Steve Fishwick on trumpet, Ed Parr on trombone, and @darrenmccarthybass on bass.

At length, the vacuous and largely trivial mind of UK jazz drummer and composer Robbie Ellison has been put to use. The result is a set of original compositions and arrangements of contemporary jazz in the swinging vernacular. This project will see its debut at this year’s inaugural Battersea Jazz Festival, on Saturday 16th July at 3pm in Battersea Square, and features some of finest names from the UK jazz scene: Steve Fishwick (trumpet/flugelhorn), Adam Bishop (alto saxophone), Ed Parr (trombone), Fraser Smith (tenor saxophone), Tom Smith (bass clarinet), Darren McCarthy (double bass), and Robbie Ellison (drums).
