The Battersea Jazz Festival is very excited to be welcoming French virtuoso saxophonist Baptiste Herbin to Battersea to perform in the Aud Jebsen Hall at the Royal Academy of Dance on York Road. An international star, Baptiste is one of the most highly-regarded and influential jazz musicians of his generation, and will be presenting an afternoon of original music and jazz arrangements with a rhythm section of some of the finest musicians in London.

He is renowned for his technical prowess as well as his originality and innovation on the saxophone, as well as his wide-ranging mastery of a variety of genres. As well as his native France, he has played all over the world, including in Britain, Thailand, the United States, Madagascar, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Serbia, and many other countries. He has performed and collaborated with jazz artists including Roy Hargrove, Wynton Marsalis, Jean Toussaint, and countless others. He has released several albums under his own name as well as participating on a large number of recording sessions.

Baptiste is endorsed by Selmer saxophones.
