Jim Davison Quartet

Trumpeter Jim Davison will be bringing a trio to the Landor Space on Thursday 11th June for an intimate night of songs from the Great American Songbook, jazz history, and music by his favourite trumpeters such as Clark Terry, Freddie Hubbard and Chet Baker. He will be joined by a stellar rhythm section featuring some of the finest talents in London.

Doors open at 7:00pm, and the performance will start at 8pm.

Recipient of the Worshipful Company of Musicians Young Jazz Musician of the Year Award, trumpeter James Davison works with premier ensembles across both jazz and classical music styles including the BBC Big Band, London Symphony & Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as popular West End shows such as the Book of Mormon. James is a powerful force on the UK scene, performing regularly with The Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Pete Long’s Echoes of Ellington Orchestra and the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.

His broad range of taste and experience will be on display in this evening’s performance. Backed by a rhythm section of some of Britain’s most in-demand musicians, expect a night of some of the most swinging music imaginable.
